Annual PTO Halloween Carnival

The Annual PTO Halloween Carnival has been a staple community event for nearly half a century. The carnival has always been held the Sunday before Halloween. This event is open to the general public and is loads of fun for young children and families - and not too scary. Please join us for some Halloween fun this year!
Proceeds from this event go to fund the annual $500 award to a graduating senior that attended Birch Grove Community School.
"Each year, the Great Pumpkin rises out of the pumpkin patch that he thinks is the most sincere. He's gotta pick this one. He's got to. I don't see how a pumpkin patch can be more sincere than this one. You can look around and there's not a sign of hypocrisy. Nothing but sincerity as far as the eye can see." ~ Linus from It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown

Birch Grove takes pictures at this event and posts on the school Facebook page, the school website, and sometimes in the local paper. Please be aware of this. If you don't want your picture, or your child’s picture, to be on social media, "orange dots" will be available at the entrance of the carnival. Please place an orange dot close to your (or your child’s face). High on the shoulder should do it. Pictures where orange dots are visible will not be used in social media.
All youth that attend the carnival should be accompanied by an adult. While older youth may wander the carnival on their own, their adults are still responsible for their behavior. We want the carnival to be a positive experience for all! Thank you for talking with your children about behavior expectations prior to attending.
